Robyn Rihanna Fenty popularly known as Rihanna is a Barbadian musician and singer who has given us songs like Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. In her prime, Rihanna is now one of the most well-known music artists. Barbados-born, she learned to appreciate reggae music and began singing when she was a young child. Afraid of the chaos in her family and the constant arguments between her parents she immersed herself in music, and soon realized she wanted to be an accomplished singer. When she was still in high school she was a part of a band group and was asked to sing with Evan Rodgers. The producer was extremely impressed by the talent of this teenager. Rihanna relocated into New York so that she could begin her singing career. The album she released her debut album soon out and Rihanna became a musical sensation in no time. The young crowd was captivated by her enthralling songs which had them on their feet. This brought her into the world of film. The young and gifted Rihanna is now regarded as a teenager-idol, and a fashion idol. Rihanna is also putting her fame to good use, and is actively involved with several charities.
