LeBron Raymone James Sr., born 30th December 1984, is an American professional basket ball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). James is known as King James and is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James has the distinction of winning four NBA championships. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. And two Olympic gold medals. James has scored more points in the playoffs. He has the second-most career points and is seventh in career assists. James is part of the NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams, and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. In total, he has played in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. The streak spans eight consecutive years between 2011 and 2018. James was selected for his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. He was the very first NBA player to score 10,000 points in his career. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his home town in Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media for his potential as an NBA star. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the first pick of the NBA draft in 2003. He was voted the NBA most promising rookie in the 2004. Soon he became one of the premier players in the NBA as he won an NBA MVP Award twice in 2009 and 2010. James joined Miami Heat in 2010 when he became a Free Agent after not achieving the title with Cleveland. The announcement was made in The Decision.
