LeBron Raymone James Sr. was born on December 30th in 1984. He is an American professional basketball player. Nicknamed King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful basketball players ever and is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James is the winner of four NBA championships. Four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. Two Olympic golds. James is an NBA All-Star and has most points in playoffs, the second-highest point total, and seventh-highest career assist total. James has 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All-NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times consecutively between the years 2011-2018. In 2018 he was also selected to join the team for NBA's 75th anniversary. James was chosen to be part of the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. He was the NBA's first player to score 10,000 points, 10 rebounds and an assist in 2022. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. National media touted James as a future NBA superstar. In 2003 the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first during the NBA draft, as a pre-pro. He was voted the NBA player of the year for 2004. He soon became one of the top players in the NBA and was awarded the NBA MVP Award twice in 2009 and 2010. After failing to win an NBA championship, Cleveland James left in 2010 by way of a free-agent to be a part of Miami Heat. Miami Heat this was announced in the television program The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent decisions in sports history.
