Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni is an American actor, popular for his role in the popular television show 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. He discovered his love for acting from his days in the college classroom and then studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been in films as well as on TV, it is the character actors on smaller screens which have earned him acclaim. He has the ability to portray both characters from the side of the police as well as the other. This is the reason that is what makes him so famous. He played the part of a serial killer on the first TV series he appeared in and then went on to portray the character of an NYPD detective. For his performances on small screens, he's received many nominations for highly coveted Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. He is known by his blue piercing eyes, which have turned into a signature and helped create a charismatic character for tough roles. The People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured him.
