Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best known for playing in the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. In his first years of college Meloni had a keen interest in the field of acting. After that, he attended the University of Colorado at Boulder. Though he has been active on both television and films it is his characters on the small screen that gave him popularity and much fans. The actor is able to play characters from both good and bad sides of the legal system. He is able draw the attention of viewers easily. He portrayed the role of a serial killer in his debut television show and then went on to portray the character as an NYPD detective. Numerous times, he was nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. It is his trademark piercing, blue eyes which are said to make his look attractive. They've assisted in portray the rough characters in an enthralling style. He was listed on People's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
