Christopher Peter Meloni has been a popular American actor for many years. The actor is best popular for the roles he played in "Law & the Special Victims Unit". In his first years of college, Meloni was interested in the field of acting. He then studied at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He was also active on TV and film and on stage, his appearances on the small screen have earned him a lot of recognition. He's been able to easily play characters on both sides of the law and grab the audience's interest. He played the character of the serial killer on his first television project and later played the role of an NYPD detective. The actor has been nominated several times for the highly coveted Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his smaller screen performance. His most attractive facial feature is believed to be his distinctive blue eyes. They are believed as a signature and have aided in depicting tough characters that have charisma. He was listed as one of People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
