Jessie J
Jessica Ellen Cornish (also known as Jessie J) is an English performer and musician. Jessie gained fame early for her unusual music style that incorporates soul vocals with pop, hip-hop, and electropop. As well as her numerous honors, she's also been nominated for the "Critics' Choice Brit Awards" and for the BBC's Sound of 2011". The career of Jessie began in the age of 11 when Andrew Lloyd Webber cast her in the musical Whistle Down the Wind. She then joined the National Youth Music Theater and appeared in their 2002 show, 'The Late Sleepers'. Her debut album "Who You Are" was launched in February of 2011. The singer became famous the following year. In the UK all by itself it sold 105,000 copies, whereas in the US it was 34,000. Jessie's album also made it to number two on the Charts of UK Albums, as well as number 11 in the US Billboard 200.
